What makes a water treatment lead qualified?

For PLG, a qualified lead is a homeowner who submitted an inquiry through a form — their contact info and interest in better water for their home. It does not mean PLG called the person, verified water quality, booked an appointment or guaranteed an installation. Exclusivity means PLG supplies that inquiry to one installer.

01

Keep four different pipeline stages separate

PLG does not phone-verify leads before delivery. Separate these stages in your reporting so inquiries are never counted as booked appointments or installed customers.

StageWhat it tells you
Submitted inquiryContact details and a stated interest were submitted
Phone verificationA conversation occurred, only if explicitly included
Booked appointmentA specific meeting time has been agreed
Completed installationThe installer sold and fulfilled the job

02

What PLG captures, and what it doesn't

PLG captures submitted contact info and the homeowner's interest from benefit-led creative. We do not collect detailed water source, home type, water issues, timing, or test results on every form. Targeting is by the service area you agree with us — not independent ownership or address verification.

Any additional campaign filters (for example, treatment interest, existing system, or timing) are optional and agreed before launch. Submission is not independent verification of each answer.

  • ✓Service ZIP codes and acceptable property types, when included
  • ✓City water versus private well, when relevant to the campaign
  • ✓Treatment interests supported by your team, when agreed
  • ✓Existing treatment, available tests or timing, when included

03

What happens after an inquiry arrives

Review the submitted details, contact the homeowner, confirm the concern and area, then agree the next step. Treatment design still requires suitable testing and professional assessment. A symptom report is not proof of a contaminant or system requirement.

Track delivery, successful contact, assessments, proposals and customers separately. Share useful fit and outcome feedback so targeting can be adjusted.

  • ✓Assess invalid leads against the applicable written agreement.
  • ✓Check published plan information and confirm credit terms on the strategy call.
  • ✓A credit policy is not a guarantee of appointments or installation revenue.
